Pet Loss Counselling
Do you need Pet Loss Counselling in Ballarat or online?
Pet loss is a form of disenfranchised grief where society does not traditionally validate, acknowledge or support ones grief. Pets provide companionship and are an important part of our family and household. When our pet dies, we can feel deep loss, particularly as they were so much a part of our daily routine. The house can feel very quiet when they have gone. Quite often we feel guilt relating to end of life decisions and euthanasia. We may also grieve if we have had to give up pets for adoption or experience anticipatory grief when our pets are older in age.
At Waves of Hope Grief Counselling we understand pet loss. Margaret is an animal lover, a pet owner to two dogs and two cats and has experienced the pain of pet loss.
Counselling can provide a safe space to mourn the loss of your pet and help you to navigate the waves of grief. Together we can explore coping strategies and ways to honour and remember your pet. You don't have to go through this alone.
Contact Margaret for a free 15 minute enquiry phone call.
